MAHMOOD ASADI · 09 PRODUCTS ON RECORD
Products I've
defined, built
and shipped.
Product leadership across travel, hospitality, education, fintech and AI. I take an ambiguous problem through product definition, UX and delivery to working software.
15+ YEARS IN SOFTWARE · PROBLEM TO WORKING SOFTWARE · AI-ASSISTED BUILD
Each record sets out the problem, what I decided, what I refused to build, and what shipped. Safar, Vlavera, EdifyTrade, Asadi Studio are live products, and Asadi Gate is a live demo. The other four were built to production standard and never taken to market; they show range and method, not traction.
Safar
Travel discovery and planning for Armenia in English, Russian and Persian. A traveller starts from a journey, a single day, or dates and bookings they already have, and an approved local partner fulfils the trip.
Vlavera
Hospitality websites built around the guest journey, for independent hotels, restaurants and travel businesses — from discovery through to booking, reservation or enquiry.
EdifyTrade
Broker Academy OS — brokers, IBs and trading educators each run their own branded academy on shared infrastructure. Public site, student portal, owner dashboard, hosted video, webinars, and a Practice Lab that teaches risk first.
Asadi Gate
Live demo — an AI asks to make a payment, and fixed rules decide. Same request, same answer, every time, each one recorded and signed.
Volt
Gamified mobile trading arena — real MT5 orders placed with a swipe, live charts, XP tiers, and Power Hour events. Three NestJS services behind a React Native app that feels native.
Veralis
Mobile trading platform for forex/CFD brokers — live MT5 execution, native KYC, hosted payments, and real-time WebSocket prices. Complete monorepo: React Native + NestJS BFF.
Ardura
Broker platform with one portal per role — client area, IB partner portal, back-office CRM, and super-admin. Plus a commission engine, a payout ledger, and AI churn prediction that a person signs off.
Truvesta
Full dealing desk intelligence platform for Forex/CFD brokers — scenario lab, exposure tracking, risk signals, and dealer dashboards.
Asadi Studio
Live at studio.asadi.ai — four ready-made website styles for introducing brokers, each a complete design system in its own right: Modernist, Ledger, Terminal, and Poster.

- Discovery. Start with the people who have the problem: who they are, what they are trying to do, and what stops them today.
- Definition. Write it down before anything is built: requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and the rules the product must never break.
- Prioritisation. Decide what the first release is, and what it is not. Every case record here lists what I refused to build.
- Prototype. Get to working software early. AI-assisted development lets me take a prototype much further myself before it costs a team any time.
- Delivery. Review, test and release every change against what was written down. A build that breaks a product rule fails.
- Validation. Check it in real use, and say plainly which products are live and which are not.
AI is how the build gets done, not what decides it. I write the requirements and constraints first, direct AI-assisted development against them, and review and test what comes back. The judgement about what to build is fifteen years old; the speed is new.
Governance by design
Rules are enforced by the code itself, not by policy documents or by someone remembering to check.
AI recommends, humans decide
Approval steps are built into the system. Nothing a model suggests is acted on until a person approves it.
Evidence at decision time
Proof is captured at the moment the decision is made, never pieced together afterwards.
Fail-closed defaults
If no rule clearly allows an action, the system blocks it instead of letting it through and noting it.
Structural audit trails
Written as the action happens and impossible to change later, so an outside party can check them without taking my word for it.
Builds test their own rules
Every build tries to break its own safety guarantees. If it succeeds, the build fails.

Fifteen years deciding what software should do and getting it shipped. I started as a business analyst writing requirements for trading, onboarding and payment systems, ran platform delivery at FXPRIMUS / TIO Markets, built the PMO from scratch at Primus Global, and led cross-functional delivery at Exclusive Management Services, working between compliance, operations and engineering.
Across those roles the recurring work was product work: discovery, requirements, prioritisation and release, often on regulated platforms where a mistake costs money.
What changed in 2024 is that I stopped handing the specification to another team. I can now take much more of the path from product definition to working software myself, which is why there are nine products on this page rather than one.
